Terms

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These terms cover the software made by 321audio ("we"): our paid and free apps, their demos and 321hub. By installing or using our software you agree to these terms.

In short

  • A paid license works on up to 3 of your Macs at a time. It doesn't expire.
  • What you make with our apps is yours, commercially or not, with no credit needed.
  • Paddle.com is our reseller and merchant of record. You get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
  • The software comes "as is", within the limits of consumer law.

Buying

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it sells you the license, takes the payment, charges taxes and issues the invoice. Your purchase is also covered by Paddle's buyer terms. Prices are shown at checkout.

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. See the refund policy.

Your account

Anyone can create a 321audio account, with email and password, Google or Apple. Your licenses are kept in your account, and 321hub signs in with the same account. Keep your sign-in to yourself. We may close an account used to break these terms.

Your license

Demos

You may use a demo free of charge to try an app. A demo is limited until you activate a license. For example, everything lift plays or exports carries a short noise every few seconds.

What you make

We claim no rights in the audio or MIDI you make with our apps. Use it in your music, released commercially or not, without crediting us. This covers what you make, not material you bring in from others.

The sounds built into our apps, like lift's, may not be redistributed on their own as a sample library or sound pack.

Activation and 321hub

A paid app needs the internet once per Mac to activate, on its own or through 321hub. After that it works offline. When you're online, lift checks its license again at most once a month, and being offline never locks it.

321hub is our free Mac app that installs, updates and activates our apps.

When a license stops

If an order is refunded or charged back, or you ask us to delete your activation data, the license stops working on those Macs the next time the app checks online.

Warranty and liability

Our software is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or work with every DAW. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. How we handle your data is on the privacy page. Questions: support@321audio.com.
